About

Don’t make me walk …

The whole saying goes…”Don’t make me walk when I want to fly…” I thought that was a great introduction as I don’t like too much physical exertion so would prefer to fly either by plane or by magic carpet. My name is Ann, coming to you from across the Pacific Ocean in little old Aotearoa New Zealand. The days of flying after tear away children are long gone now, however I hope by sharing the memories of raising these amazing gifts that other parents are uplifted. When in the thick of raising our families, we may often feel alone, as though we are navigating an endless maze without a map. Know that you aren’t – everyone has crazy, chaotic times filled with either great belly laughs or tears that are shed in moments of frustration. These experiences, both the delightful and the challenging, weave together the fabric of our lives, making us stronger and more connected. Let’s hope by sharing these light-hearted moments, we can build a community of resilience and joy, where parents can find solace in knowing we are all in this together, learning, growing, and embracing the beautiful chaos that comes with nurturing our little ones.
